Default Tried NoGo's VE tuning, have some questions

First post here but have been around reading a lot of interesting posts the past year

I have tried out NoGo's VE tuning approach as published in the 'VE Table Cracked' (Thanks NoGo and everyone else adding info)thread but I'm not sure I'm doing the data collection correct.

I'm using AutoTap to get all data and do all the 'NoGo' calculations in Excel. I do not know how to program Excel to group the MAP/RPM/VE data so I wrote a simple C program to group the data to the correct MAP and RPM. This is the data imported back into Excel(fields with zeroes are areas I do not have any data points):

And this is how it looks when entered into LS1-Edit:

This is a 427' C5R engine so it's probably quite different from a 350'.

We have MAP15, MAP20, MAP30 etc. Do I group all data between MAP 15.0-19.9 to MAP15 in each RPM span, 20-24,9 to MAP20 in each RPM span and so on ?

yeah...I don't think I would load that VE table on my car...

As they explicitly say in that VE Table Cracked thread...don't change the VE values until you know what you're doing.

You got a 3-d view of that thing? I want to see what that looks like. It is hard to figure out because it isn't in % like my 98.

My question really is about how the MAP boundries works. Do all MAP values from 15.0 to 19,9 belong to the MAP 15 cell, 20,0 to 24,9 belong to the MAP 20 cell, 25 to 29,9 belong to the MAP 25 cell and so on ???

Thanks

Ohh forgot to tell, my car runs great with this VE entered. My LTFT's are at -2,5 no hesitation or any other problem.

I think those spikes would want to be hand-
whittled to smooth. Other than the bumps /
ripples it looks like a fairly sane response
surface.

YOu can use access to group the data by running queries against what you have loaded into the tables. From that thread it seems like the ve's are a little on the lean side and you will have to multiply the values to richen it up some. I am using Chris B's LFA program to calculate my ve's and havent run into any problems yet
