this is my setup: it's a 1986 rx7 swaped with a gen 3, 5.3, 224/224 .581 .581 cam and 625 springs 78mm turbo 80lb Siemens injectors @58psi dual 255 fuel pumps turbo 400 transmission 01 ecu 3 bar gm sensor and all that stuff to run speed density, I'm not running o2 sensors but I do have a AEM wideband, here is log it looks like it doesn't matter what i do, I can't lean it out. and if I put it in gear, it will go lean instantly and tries to die. this is my first time using hp tuners and i try to ask questions on the hp tuners forum but it looks like everyone is to good to help https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...1&d=1470600962

i'm not on my hp tuners laptop so i cant see your tune or log

but when i had similar issues i tried a series of suggestions

set my IAC/TPS to get IAC counts around 50 at warm idle, it may take a couple tries
the how to on the sloppy mechanics wiki is great

next i made sure I had forced open loop by raising the closed loop enable to 285*F

then I verified my fuel pressure at the rail and scaled my injectors accordingly

next I played with my VE until I could get it to idle at 14.7 afr ----I did a blanket factor of 10% (multiply the whole table by 1.1) to get it richer.

It still needs lots of work, but it's some stuff to try.

If it's a GM ecu, I'm pretty sure you will need o2 sensors.

Some injectors have a minimum on-time, usually around 1ms or so. If you try to go below it, the injector might not open, or open erratically/not nearly enough, and the engine will try to die.

The bandaids are:
reduce fuel pressure
raise engine idle RPM

the real fix is to use a higher resolution injector
