ok I ordered the wrong ones at first and now have the correct ones.

they are available from digi-key electronics for $3.19 each and about $3 shipping, so order a few to make it worthwhile.

the digi key part number is ED10557-ND

it is an 8 position terminal block plug with female sockets and 3.5mm spacing between pins.
