Default Anything wrong spacing the o2 sensor out of direct exhaust flow?

So I installed be steal braided power steering lines and my driver front o2 sensor now hit the fitting.
I found they sell 90 degree fittings you screw in place of the o2,then the o2 screws to that.

Basically it won't be directly in the flow.
This is for my normal narrow bands and I do use short term fuel trims still.

Any issues with this? If I do it should I just do the other side too?

Yes, the problem will be that the NBO2 will not react to the exhaust gases.
