Default TH350 Gear Vendors No Button Shifting?

Having two separate methods of shifting is just a PITA when you are shifting up and down over a short period of time. When you need to concentrate on handling the car in quickly varying situations shifting has to be as simple as possible eg paddles, sequential ratchet shifter.

Is there a reasonably priced solution to this problem? A bit of DIY is fine, a suitable control box would be great.

Mastershift sell a kit that would suit but at $2,500+ I'm not buying it, way over priced when the cost of a GV is factored in.
