i just turbo'd my ls1 in my 98 camaro i bought hp tuner to tune it and i read the car and doesnt give any option to change to speed density tune. My OS is 9352096. can anyone help me please. i live ina rural areaand doing this all by myself. thanks

From what ive seen the 98 fbody is an oddball pcm and mostly a PITA. The memory on it is alot lower than the others so it wont support certain things, like 2 bar COS. Alot of guys swap to a 99+ pcm but it requires some wiring. For all the trouble id swap to a truck pcm

You may have to change your OS to one that has 2 bar if you dont have that option or email hp tuners support. There is a 2 Bar OS upgrade available for OS 9375573.

98 is junk and been through this. Unfortunately you are going to have to get a 99+ pcm and engine harness then repin the body/engine harness at the ecu. It sucks
