Weird looking VE Table 100kpa. Any ideas? 1 Attachment(s) Hi all! I am putting the finishing touches on my VE table and have noticed something weird in the 100kpa zone. I am using a wideband logging percentage difference for WOT. From 3200rpm to 4400rpm the VE drops aggressively then raises again. While scanning WOT runs my wideband reading is nearly ruler flat. Very confused as I can also feel a slight drop in torque before it picks back up again. My wideband is trust worthy as I have compared it simultaneously to others. Ls1 383 stroker, rather large cam, ported heads, fast 102 combo, 1 7/8 long tubes. E85 Speed Density. Fuel pressure perfect and no mechanical problems with the motor. Any help would be appreciated Thanks |
A ruler flat wideband reading sounds like its clipping or the equation is not correct, assuming you're using the analog input to read wideband and not digital. |
It's not "ruler" flat I guess I meant its very close. Percentage error is about as close as I can get to spot on. I have compared my wideband to others including a reputable dyno so I know I'm getting good readings. I get a solid .82 lambda throughout a pull to 7k but the dip in torque is felt in the area of the VE table that drops. I'll smooth that section out a little and give it a go. |
VE correlates with torque. Your torque curve have a double hump?? |
