E85 and Flex Fuel for street strip

Flex fuel and nitrous. How does it work?

Mostly curious how it works but I happen to have a daily driven 08 Tahoe with oem flex fuel and spare parts laying around if I get bored.

Actual flex fuel or just E85 (people don't seem to know the difference anymore).

With E85, its exactly like with gasoline.
With flex, its easier to spray a dry shot into a MAF.

My understanding you just need to up the jet size on the fuel. The nitrous jet stays the same, but since e requires about 30% more that why the fuel pill is bumped up.

Actual flex fuel, not just sticking to 93 or E85. Finding an experienced flex fuel tuner will be first task. I know it takes a long time on imports converted to flex fuel, they don't have advantage of having it OEM.
Honestly don't want to bother with testing fuel at every fill-up then sampling actual e content from the rail (not even sure how this vehicle reads e %) then changing pills just in case I catch a race before next fill-up.

Dry shot pre-MAF seems like the best route if the PCM can read and adjust quickly enough for the initial hit. Safe to assume normal rules of dry shots apply?
Only personal experience with dry shot was an old Buick about 15 years ago... wouldn't call it a good experience lol

Spraying into the MAF will make the PCM adjust the injectors for the increased flow.
If your PCM does true flex, it will do all of the fuel calibrations based on ethanol percentage, no extra work required by you.

Your tahoe is a virtual flex fuel and does not have an actual sensor. You need to add an actual sensor if you want to work correctly. Virtual flex messes up alot on the 08-14 silverado/tahoes.
