HP Tuners .bin file Repository -- Search for bins , upload your own bins!

Welp, I've finally finished (enough that it's actually useful) my HP Tuners .bin Repository ...

http://www.hptuners.com/customers/

EDIT: new and improved bin repository link above... functionality is the same (or better) ... tune approvals will be much faster

Abilities include: Uploading and Searching
(I'll add better graphics in the coming weeks... I've always done backend coding... so I'm not exactly the most graphical person... but I'll try to make it purdier as time goes by (even though I think it looks purdy now :D but have gotten complaints))

If you have any .bin files to share please do, the more we have the more help it will be for others wanting to tune on their own and see some examples on similar setups.

Please remember that when submitting your .bin file be as descriptive as possible, the more information you include the better it is for searching... and the more it will help other users.

There are also some other resources for finding .bin files:

Another_User has developed the following:
http://users.adelphia.net/~someoneelse/

And opcode is working on his own as well:

sounds goods but one noob question. could u explain what a bin file is.. i just bought my hptuner yesterday and i havent got it yet but would like to get learnin fast..whats this change on what its coming with new???thanks and bare with me please :)

jimmyblue 07-09-2004 08:15 AM

If you read your PCM with the VCM_Flash tool
it saves the PCM data as a yourFileName.bin
file. This is what you'd work over w/ VCM_Edit,
or stuff back in if you were to go back to that
base tune later.

My stock '02 image is something I've sent to both
sites. Everything else is a "work in progress"....

Very cool. I'm thiiiiiiis close to ordering the HP Tuner and if someone has a file with something similar to my setup, that would help me out tremendously.

Uploaded my stock bin for yet another 2002 M6. Ill be uploading my bins for lid, TB, headers, TDs, !AIR, !rear-o2s; after some polishing up. I'll have bins for both a stock MAF and a ported MAF shortly.

Thanks horist and A_U and everyone else!

So what can we do to look at various years and makes. Is there any bin veiwers out there besides HPTuners since we're locked in years/models?

TT_Vert 07-09-2004 04:46 PM

ugh you cant even view .bins of other cars then your hp tuners is setup for??

no bin viewers to my knowledge available to the general public, as they would be easy to reverse engineer into a editor.

we're up to 23 files :) many stock and modified... keep on submitting :) (even if your tune is stock please submit... there are several OS versions for each year so you may have a file someone else needs)

BadManLS1 07-18-2004 02:52 PM

Just uploaded my 98 TA stock program on the site. Anyone have a dyno tuned 98 program with mods like mine in the sig?

Racehead 07-19-2004 01:05 AM

I've uploaded my bin for an '01. It's stock tune, but has CAGS, COT, and AIR delete + fan on/off temps adjusted and speed limiter raised to 170 mph. I'll be putting a cam in it soon and will upload my bin for that tune when I get it perfected.
