Default Wont rev passed 5200 RPM

Hey guys, hopefully I’m in the right section, I would like to get some ideas on to possibilities for the following;
My Camaro is a 1998 Z28 M6 with 2500 miles on new rebuild.
I went to the track and wouldn’t rev passed 5200 RPM
I feel great power until I get to 5200RPM
It feels like when it hits the rev limiter. The only recent things I have done is install TSP Catted Y-pipe and Magnaflow cat-back, besides that I haven’t touched her since dyno day.
I checked all plugs wires, coil wires, injector wires (to make sure they are connected correctly, and ground connections. Went for another drive and still acts the same.
What could cause this?
I forgot to say I have no CEL

Check your park / neutral rpm limit in your by gear limiter table in the fuel -- cutoff section

Also check your drivetrain abuse rpm

I’m going to have to have my tuner guy check it out.
I might end up having to buy and learn how to use the HP Tuner myself.
Thanks!

it was fine before until I put in the TSP catted Y-Pipe. The first 300 miles was fine, then out of nowhere it began.

Your cluster might be faulty try to do a scana and see whatever the real rpm from the ECU. Iv had that issue as well.

I've seen a few cars over the years that would do what your saying and it ended up being the crank sensor. Hopefully this will be an easy fix for you.

Ok guys so I finally got around to working on my Camaro. I replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires, crank sensor, cleaned filter, and MAF, and chees cats.
Still same issue, so I took it to the tuner, and he is telling me that the gauge RPMs are off from the gauge. I thought it was weird, because idle RPM is fine.
What can cause this? What fixes? I tried a quick search but found only stuff on swaps

What did you end up doing to fix your issue?
