Crate LSA - ECU Options

I'm putting an LSA in a first gen camaro and considering either a Holley HP EFI or HP Tuners with the stock ECU and PSI conversion harness.

Being a supercharged 6.2 I'm going to have gauges for Boost, IAT etc and I know that Holley HP EFI has a limit of 4 input and outputs. I'm also going to run Meth with pump gas. It's a T56 magnum so don't have to worry about the transmission. The intercooler is a water to air so it needs the water pump ran as well. Are both viable options or is the Holley HP EFI likely too limiting? With Holley would I have my input and outputs likely maxed out with what I'm doing or would I be able to add a digital dash down the road if I wanted?

My tuner says either option will work. If we go with Holley he said the self tuning portion would be turned off anyways but live tuning can be nice. Of course the Holley route is a bit more.

What about the harness and controller ( E67) from the cts-v. Very tunable, can buss out for digital dash. output for pump, etc.Steve

Yes that's what I meant by stock ecu with HP tuners as the alternative option to the Holley route. Looks to be about $600-800 cheaper but perhaps the Holley EFI can give a better tune and worth paying the extra?

Either one can be tuned equally well by a good tuner.

If the engine is stock and will stay stock, then get the GMPP kit and call it a day. However, if you plan to change things, then I would go with the Holley and I would seriously consider the Dominator. First, I love DBW, second, you will never worry about running out of I/Os. I would also run dual widebands. I like the flexibility that this offers. For instance, you can have PWM control for both the radiator fan and the heat exchanges pump. You can also make an output for the reverse lock out solenoid for the T56. You can create an output for the alternator. You can integrate the AC system by adding an input for AC pressure.

The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
