Timing falls on its face, logs say it’s not knock.

6.0 gen 3 with turbo. This problem has came about in the last week. I have max timing at 12 degrees. I’ve had no problem the last 4 months with the timing the way it is. I log knock retard and burst knock and nothing is showing up. I have experienced knock and burst knock in the beginning of my build and had already made adjustments to the timing table and burst knock settings. Weird thing is, if I gradually increase throttle and let it build boost the timing will go to command and hold. If I increase throttle at medium rate it goes to commanded then goes right to 0. Knock sensors and harness has been replaced to rule out. I did recently update my software from 3.26 to 4.... whatever in hp tuners. Problem happens as low as 2500 rpms. I’m at a loss here. Something in my tune is making my timing to retard way back.

You need to datalog all timing modifiers to see which one is causing it. It could be TM, IAT, ECT etc.
If you include the correct PIDs in the scanner it will tell you what the cause is.
