5.3 swap wont rev remove grd frm maf and works
 

86 c10 5.3swap it bogs when I hit the throttle. Yesterday removed the ground pin from the maf and it accelerated fine but high idled for 5or 6 seconds. I would appreciate any help or ideas

It's now running in speed density mode. Removing the ground killed the MAF. You likely need a new one, or the old one just needs a good cleaning.

Its a new one i bought from eBay and when i connect the ground back it idles smooth as if it didn't have an aftermarket cam

I just ordered a new one i will tell you that What it does.

When it comes to sensors and such, you should always use either genuine GM or other KNOWN good brands. Unless you KNOW the quality of the sensor, I would shy away from eBay.
