from my understanding 99+ PCMs are similar enough to swap... I'm running a who knows what year PCM in my car right now, 2000 ... it's running a 2002 Operating system

hmmm good question. If Tuners checks the vin year digit then you may be SOL

I will be using 02 hp tunners on my 00 w/an 02 pcm...my plans are to swap pcms and down load a stock 2000 hp tunners bin file and load that into the 02 pcm to get me started...have I confused anyone LOL

do you guys think this will work??

I don't see why it wouldn't work, except loading a 2000 hptuners file into a 2002 pcm is probably a bad idea, if it's even possible. Just modify the file that's in there, copy & paste tables if you need to.
