Default tach off by 300, how can I fix it?

My PCM reports 800rpm, while the tach reports 1100rpm. How can I fix that?

Thanks,
Terry

Pull the gauge cluster out, then remove the clear cover, then put the gauge back in...

pop the tach needle off.. use a scan tool to hold the rpm's at 1000 rpm or 2K rpm.. put needle back on.

I did this to my car and it worked like a charm.

If you turn the key to run, but dont start the motor, the tach spindle will zero out. No scan tool needed.
