Default one minute it is fine the next its trying to die on me....

I dont know what is wrong with my car, i came home and started it and it was fine then i went to the mall and came out and it was running like crap sounded like it was missing or something, so i try to get home and i have the throttle down to where it would normally be at 4000 but it is at 1500 then it just cleared out when i gave it a little more and i was fine, but it does this every time it has been run and you start it again. it sounds like it is missing but if you gag it, it will clear out sometimes and run good, sometimes it takes a couple of times, it feels like everyother cylinder is hitting. I dont know what is wrong it just started doing it and my wife is about to kill me. please help.

My wife's car was doing this, so I changed the O2 sensors and it still did it, so she was about to kill me also! Check your fuel presure; her car ended up needing a new fuel pump.
