Not only that the IFR table has been lower to shoot more fuel. If everythign was right it would prolly be somewhere arounf 7:1

Assuming what you have said is true, you probably have a case to sue for non-delivery of products and services. You will need to have evidence of what was said before he started, otherwise technically you will have to grin and bear it. Small claims tribunal or Office of fair trading perhaps? Give em a call.

Yep, generally your not going to see more then this out of a place with overhead or that provides things to more then 8 people ever, unless there are specific occurances that warrant such specific changes. Ive seen some places do actually HALF of what you just mentioned.
As for the recommendation of sueing, thats quite laughable unless something detrimental was caused and still then I dont know of an implied warrantee in the aftermarket industry.
I guess in the end its the results that matter, there are many ways to arrive at a target, the problem is most that turn a volume over have to maintain some type of "efficiency" Balancing timelyness and end result is key, as long as you wont sacrifice a good end result. As they say result speak for themselves.
Private individuals, time effectiveness is not an issue whatsoever, come home after work and fiddle with it off and on, is a nice luxury. I know I got yelled at all the time at jasons for spending too much time fooling with different peoples cars working on getting them 110% right.
The only "professional" thing to do is have the person (if they have any issues with the car) ask if it can be gone over and their specific grievences worked at. All liability is gone if 3rd party becomes involved. As with many instances on here even, youll see the well respected in this community (LS1Tech) say the same thing. Only way to get a real resolution.

I agree especially if it was a canned tune so to speak. They make for good starting points, but not all cars are the same right! needs little more attention then just that.
On the other hand, cell by cell manipulation of every table in a PCM isnt required though on every car to get great driveability and max power. For example Ive worked with 9 million tables and had every cell fiddled with on some cars tunes, and there have been other cars where the most basic things were all that was needed to accomplish goals, just needed very "fine resolution" so to say. Waynes car for example Dirk, basically what you mentioned and 4 or so more table, and has a way too low 10:1 compresion, 242/242 .612 lift 110 LSA cammed car idling at 975-925, drives awesome with automagic
End results speak for themselves, and people have to do their homework and go with who has put together fast stuff given similiar equipment with good driveability, or learn how to do it themselves. Fast cam only cars for what they are, people getting big cammed cars driving well, performing well etc etc.
Curious what were the problems with the car if any?

Who are you asking? if its about Waynes car, its been both. Worked fine with fresh o2s, liked to fouled them out with leaking exhausts, cam with lotsa overlap etc.
Closed loop its nice I guess with some setups, though not at all necessary, if someone O2s are dead dying or unresponsive, sometimes Ill save them $140 in O2 sensors replacing them and with better gas mileage to boot.
Side question what kind of gas mileage has your car been getting after the cam Dirk?

I havent clocked it in a while since i drive the beater most of the time. When i did drive it back and forth to work it wasnt that hard on gas at all. That is a trip up 301 to the beltway and then from the beltway to work, 40 minutes total 20 minutes in traffic 20 on the highway
