Need to get through inspection What "Type" to set DTC's to?

I need to get through and OBDII inspection soon. I have the air pump out and have disabled the SES light using LS1Edit. Some still show up with "H" next to them. That is history right? Is that ok? Is there a way to not set the DTC yet also keep the readiness indicator tests working?

This is what I found as options:

Type A = MIL triggered on first occurance
Type B = MIL triggered on second occurance
Type C = No MIL triggered (DTC will be stored, but no MIL will occur)
Type X = turned off (no MIL will trigger and no DTC stored).

Which one for going through OBDII emissions test?

Does Error set SES = ON or OFF (which one for OBDII emissions test?)

Leave the SES ON
Change type to X

This will cause the diagnostic test to still run, but no lights/failures will occur

Thanks man! What does the "H" next to two of my AIR pump codes mean in ATAP? I was having a random misfire P0300 which I took care of, but that was showing a "P" next to it. What does and "H" mean and how will that effect and OBDII inspection?

H = (History)
Was detected in the past
C= (Current)
Currently detected
P=(Pending)
A sign that this code may be set was detected, but the requirements have been met yet to make it current

disable the SES's as mentioned above, clear anything stored, drive the car for a while so the readiness tests complete and you should be fine

About readiness tests, when doing OBD-2 inspection, do these have to complete as well? My misfire test is shown incomplete, but if i enable the DTC it will most certainly throw. This is even with my low rpm events time set to 32727. I'm not due yet, but I'd like to know this for when i am

readiness tests do count, I believe the missfire and EVAP take the longest to complete,

Not sure how the rules are everywhere.. but here 96-2000 cars can have 2 failed readiness tests, 01+ only 1 failed readiness

Thanks. I changed the all to Type X and SES on. I then kept driving, but still had the cat test and EVAP. Luckily I stopped at my buddies shop, and his scanner let me force an EVAP test which put it to ready. NJ allows 1 non-ready test so that ended up being my cat eff. test. I made it throuhg inspection yesterday!!

I set all DTCs involved in the readiness tests to X and SES to off.

the DTCs involved are in the Helms. And they will report ready in that condition.
