Begginer's question

Does anyone know if there is a chart that shows the RPM range and how the different parameters come into play and at what rpm's. I would like to see where all the different sensors overlap each other. For instance, what RPM does the O2 sensors no longer have an effect? What RPM does the MAF no longer have an effect? You get the idea.

It's not all RPM based

MAF on a normal car is always used unless the car's forced into Speed Density
O2 Sensors are used whenever the car is in closed loop, when in open loop VE is used, when >35% throttle (may vary between cars) is applied the car uses the Performance Enrichment (PE) mode and goes from closed loop to open loop

At different RPMs , different amounts of timing advance are given based on engine load.

May want to look into this:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...261490-6219914

Describes the Sensors , what they do, when they're used, etc etc...

Thanks. I ordered a couple of the books that cover EFI!
