Default Sometimes O2's follow each other, sometimes they are opposite???

Is this a sign of an exhaust leak or a bad O2?

I was just looking through the graph of my latest log and the O2 signals sometimes look the same, sometimes go opposite directions, etc? Any ideas?

I think that is normal but couldn't really say for sure but mine does that as well. Most of the time I would say there close to the same.

Edit: For some reason I didn't see the screen shots when I first looked at this post. After looking at them it looks like you need at least one new sensor, but I would do both. Mine aren’t that bad yet.

In the 3rd pic, one of them is flat-lined while the other is pegged. But then on some of the pics, they match up. I don't know what the deal is. Your's do that sometimes too or are they almost always matched?

I'd say the bank 2 o2 is dead. If you have stock manifolds that rules out bad extensions, cold temps ect. How many miles? I'd suggest replacing both while your in there.

Just under 50k miles. Stock O2's with extensions for LT's.

I'll probably just replace them both then, thanks.

Talking

Make sure you buy the Bosch 13111 O2's. They are much better than stock ones and you do not need the extenders.

Here are some pics with the new 13111 O2's. Still seems like there are some places where they are opposite and stuff, must be normal. I do notice the fuel trims seem less erratic than before.

That doesn't look normal to me. This pic was taken after the O2's warmed up to temp correct? That bank 2 still doesn't seem to have the amplitude that bank 1 has even when there in synch and then when you let of the gas bank 2 drops off all together.

I would look for an exhaust leak before the o2 sensor or possibly that side is not staying hot enough and you might need to look into putting on some header wrap to maintain the heat for the 02.

But there again, what do I know? LOL
