Predator or HPIII

Which is better for a vehicle that will remain pretty stock (Lid/filter, etc)?

I am pretty happy with my VHP tuner FWIW, great gains up top!

well... if those are your only choices... predator... the HPP3 is a POS

Also look into the Vinci (Crane) Handheld... if you want full control of the PCM then I'd go w/HP Tuners

You might want to pay some one to tune it at a tunershop, considering the cost of the handheld programmers, a shop tune would only be 100-200 more. Ive seen bolt on cars with drag radials and good tuning get well into the twelves

Pay a tuner to tune a mostly stock car?
I'm not doing heads/cam... maybe a lid/filter/exhaust.
I have only heard of the Predator and HPIII, that's why I asked about them.

I would like some info for this too. I'm going to remain basically stock with the exception of a few small mods like Xlr8tor said. Can anyone help as to what's the best method to get a good tune?

Remember, Predator only supports 99-02 F-bodies.

Well I ordered my custom tune from RWTD (Predator) 4 weeks ago...
Now their support forum is closed for another 2-3 weeks.
So I'm looking to wait at least 6-7 week to get a tune, what is sucks.
Then probably we need to work on the tune so maybe another few weeks before finally I can say my tune is good.

It also happened to me earlier, I ordered a tune and took like 2-3 months to finish it....
James (RWTD/Predator) takes more costumers then what he could serve effectivly.
On ther site somewhere it states, that to get a custom tune it takes 2-3 business day. Actually 2-3 months...

But the Predator does work if you can deal with the waiting time.
