Default G5X3, AFR 205, FAST 90, NW 90, 85mm calibrated MAF

I just spent 6 hours tuning a heads/cam f-body with 42# injectors. The car idles perfectly and LTFTs around -5. BUT, under throttle the histogram is full of -12s everywhere. MAF hooked up or not.

I made changes to VE by adding the histogram values to VE. No change. None at ALL.
I tried adding and subtracting varioius percentages from VE. No change.
I tried scaling the IFR up a bit (48.83) without change.
I tried scaling the injector offsets by 10% either way. No change at ALL.
I tried scaling the MAF table up and down with no luck.

The car has a loose torque converter in it which means that the slipping stall keeps the car in the same area of the histogram the whole time.

It seems that with the MAF disconnected, it not running off the VE table. Is it running off Openloop F/A? I got the light for the MAF.

What are you using to scan? Also remember it is going to take some time for the trims to relearn themselves...what do the STFT's look like? Did you reset the trims after then tune?

I always reset LTFTs. Since the car runs in the same RPM/airflow segment so much, I just watched the scanner until the STFTs leveled out near 0. Usually, that only took a few minutes.

I use HP Tuners but have LS1edit/EFILive also.

Are you copying the high octane VE table over to the low when you're running MAFless?

No. You mean Primary over to Secondary? I did that with timing but not VE.

Do other people copy Primary VE to Secondary VE when tuning?

Most of the tuning was just with MAF unplugged. Copied high octane over to low octane and went for a ride.

If you have secondary VE, you will not see any changes if you dont make the changes in that table.
