anyone who had P0118 and rewired So Im throwing a p0118 code for the ECT sensor circuit high voltage. Ive replaced the sensor already. I have read many people have had the same code and the only solutions were to replace the sensor again and again or to rewire the sensor to the pcm.
Is there anyone that has done the second option and actually had it resolve this issue? How much of the wire did you replace? did you use little leads off the existing wire to splice the new wire on to?
