modified car- what do i tune? wont run right

Default modified car- what do i tune? wont run right

I have done the fallowing-
stage 3 heads
224/224 .581/.581 cam
Yank SS3800 converter

the car barely wantes to idle. makes no power and wants to die all the time.
I have HP Tuner. Just wondering what to change and what to change it to.

Start by opening your tb set screw a turn or so.

he turned the set screw in 2 1/4 times now it idles but still has no power and mis fires while driving

Sounds like something is wrong other than the tune. Does anything look funny with the log file? You should log misfires and see if they're mostly in one cylinder.

what do your trims look like, any other syptoms besides misfires se codes

as far as the idle i would lower cranking ve by 20% and add 35 % to the idle air table and bump up idle rpms to around 850 that will at least get it running, you can tweak it later, so u can find out what the bigger problem is if its misfiring bad it should set codes. need to know more

oh and i would reflash to the stock tune then adjust the idle and go from there you never know what has been changed if "professional" tuners have messed with it
