ok so existing users both individual and shops should be able to continue to use their existing cable and connect to every year/model car as before with the 2.0 software?
once we recieve the updated software we are good to go?

Correct! V2.0 is a software upgrade to existing user ... this means all you need to do is download and install the new version/update and continue tuning. Much like updating from V1.6 to V1.7. For those looking to tune 2005+ products with CAN software (example: LS2, LS7), it will be new hardware with intergrated USB support. Existing customers can opt to upgrade to the USB cable for a nominal fee. If you wish to keep your existing hardware (due to sentimental reasons, cost reasons) you can! You will be able to use V2.0 software with V1.7 or older hardware.
