Running a little rich, should I cut fuel or add timing? I was seeing what people recommend for a car that is running with O2 values in the 0.925 range. I was thinking about taking out fuel till my O2's where about 0.900 and then adding in timing until I got KR and then back off the timing. Would I make more power by staying richer, maybe in the 0.915 range and just use more timing until I get KR and then back off the timing? Thanks! :) |
You can't trust the factory 02# they are not accurate. You need to check it with a wideband 02 sensor. |

You have to go with a wideband... I treid to tune from the stock O2's and ran in circles. Soooooooooo much easier with the wideband. Get the LC-1 it is cheap and easy to setup. |
I always have thought that you get your fueling right then mess w/ timing for max power. |
