Please Help!

I am really struggling with getting the car running. It will fire as soon as the key is started but then it will either die right way, or find idle and run for about 5 seconds. It still has ignition while the crank is turning(during the rpm drop) I havent been able to check injectors. The pcm maintains battery, ignition, and ground, when it dies. The car keeps fuel pressure, I have tried a new mass air, iat, 02 sensors, map. The car ran fine before the turbo kit was built, only thing that changed was extending on iat and mass air wires but I have double checked those connections. Right now I have a stock tune and stock injectors untill I can get this thing to idle. Can anyone else reccomend anything that might help?TIA..

check the ECT sensor on the front of the drivers side head.

I pulled one off for a friend when we did plug wires, and forgot to reconnect, and the car woudl not start, or start really poorly.

if that doesn't do it, try adjusting the idle set screw.

We've pretty much boiled it down to the pcm. ECT is fine, won't start at all if it's unplugged, etc..

When it does start, it's starts fine, idle's fine and dead on, then just dies. IF you hold it at 3k rpms, sounds perfect, then dies. It maintains spark when it's trying to quit, believe the pcm is just pulling fuel/turning off injectors. You can feel them quit pulsing, then it dies moments later.

VATS ?? try a different key

The car is a 98 pcm swapped into a fd rx7, vats is bcm controlled? Everytime I have seen a vats problem the car wouldnt start, or it would just crank with no fire. This is obviously firing and running for a short amount of time.

if i remember correctly if there is insufficient info to the VCM for the VATS system the car will start but shutdown after about 5 seconds
