Going through HP Tuners 2.0
Man, I love the new features they added. I am interested in seeing if we can use a histogram to dial in the RAF table alittle easier. I also like it that you can use a histogram to log the secondary VE table vs the primary so it should make VE tuning slightly faster. Overall the new additions are simply amazing. Did I read some where that instead of logging 24 parameters you can log 48?

Does the histogram now take an average reading at each cell? I have HP Tuners V 1.6 and it only showed the last value to hit each cell. Made nailing the VEs very hit and miss.
Knowing how many times you've hit each cell and getting the average value of it is one of my favorite features of EFI Live.

Patrick G, right click the histogram.. Also read the 1.x help files.. We've had all sorts of histo value support since we released the 1.x scanner..
There are a LOT of features in both software platforms, 1.x and 2.x.. be sure to check the help files.. as we document as many features as we can.
Also, for the RAF and such, we included default histograms in there.. Just click the open file icon on the histogram window to see what is included.
Also, check the help files in the acknowledgments section.. You can submit your own histograms, writeups, etc. etc..
hope this helps

a list of all my histograms and some custom PID's listed in the description if it needs it
and a list of bytes max vs frame rates
Code:
24 Byte Max 48 Byte Max 1-6 Bytes 20 frames/sec 40 frames/sec 7-12 Bytes 10 frames/sec 20 frames/sec 13-24 Bytes 5 frames/sec 10 frames/sec 25-48 Bytes n/a 5 frames/sec 56 Byte Max 1-7 Bytes 40 frames/sec 8-14 Bytes 20 frames/sec 15-28 Bytes 10 frames/sec 29-56 Bytes 5 frames/sec

its automatic per vehicle...
you can add or subtract PID's to get the desired frame rates...
I can tell my wideband to report as fast as possible or to only report what it averaged every 10ms(or 1 frame in HPT at 24bytes max) or I can tell my wideband to report the average over 5ms...and I log only enough PID's to get me in teh 7-12 byte range or 1 frame every 5ms
