won't shift into 3rd gearat full thottle
 

or heavy part throttle unless I let off the gas completely. The 4l60 has a shift kit and and a 3200 stall. I have removed all tq and adjusted part throttle shifts. Everything else seems to working fine. Any Ideas? Thanks

does it do it with the gear selector in D and OD, or just in D?

If you have ruled out mechanical then you might try dropping your WOT shift rpms and mph.

Did this happened out of the blue, or following a mod?

It's been one big mod. It went from stock to a 402 with all the normal bolt-ons, patriot heads ,224/580ish cam, 3200 tci stall, shift kit all in about 2 weekends.

Two ideas (I'm talking from experiance on both).

First (most expensive) the tranny just cant handle the increased HP and needs a rebuild. Mine did the same exact thing and when it was rebuilt, the bands were burnt up and the drum was warped.

Second (this happened during another rebuild, 60K miles on first rebuild). This shop said that the "super-servo" was too much for the tranny and installed a Corvete servo. This tranny wouldn't shift to 3rd on WOT. I reinstalled the Super-servo and it shifts fine.

Where do I find one a super servo?It shifts fine up to 75% throttle.

Have similar problen except my 460lE stays in 3rd wont go up or down. After installing vig 2800. Can you give me the same info, and site?

mine wont 2-3 shift either. but i'm pretty much all stock, it gradually started happening, started before i started modding. does this seem more of a mechanical issue?
