rear 02's interchangable?
 

Can you interchange the rear o2's with the front ones on a 98" car? I did on the driver side, and im getting low readings at WOT, goes as high as .805,no higher. Any info would be appreciated, before i was getting lazy readings and was running mega rich. thanks.

From my understanding, the only differance between the front and rear O2 sensors is the length of the wire. Other then that, they are the same. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Front to rear are the same, side to side are not the same. The sensor might be the same but the wires are not the same. If you have acdelco then the part numbers should be afs98 and 97, 98 drivers side and 97 is the passenger side (shorter wire)

well i put the back driver side in the front driver side, so it should be the same? Why am i only getting a highest of .802 on my readings?

yes both drivers sides are the same. do you mean your bank1sensor1 at WOT is .802? what are your ltrims at idle? do you have a maft? autotap?

ya, b1s1 i think. I have Maft and autotap. checking more and getting some more research going.

Would anything happen (what effect) if the left side and right side sensors were interchanged?
