Im new to the diagnostics part of having a high performance vehicle and am purchasing Ease this week.
But I have a question for any/all diagnostic guru's out there.
Unless you are using along with LS1edit to fine tune your vehicle, are there problems that can occur that normally are monitored by Ease or Autotap that WONT set the SES light off?
Otherwise...Should someone be worried about something being wrong with the car unless the SES light is on? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

There are codes that can be set in the PCM that will not illuminate the MIL.

From the SAE-HS3000 book (page 105):
"The decision to illuminate the MIL for any DTC is manufacturer-specific based on their testing of how each system malfunction affects emissions."

For example the GM-Holden Commodore LS1 PCM will not illuminate the MIL for codes:
IAT sensor P1111,P1112
ECT sensor P1114,P1115
