Q about used HPP3's
 

I see alot in the forsale section.
Is it not true that if they are used that they can not be used on another car,it has to be reprogramed.Just wondering.Some are going for $200.00

the previous owner has to uninstall the hypertech programming from his car. Meaning, putting the car back to "stock". once this is done the Hypertech is safe to sell and will work on the next car.

some people just forget to do this and that's why you hear of problems.

btw, i had the HPP3 and sold it and the new owner hasn't reported any problems installing it <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I guess thats were trust comes in,but if the person didn't set his car back to stock then what can be done.All points bullutin.LOL

I am selling my HPP3 for your 99' pcm. $200 I don't think it would be smart for someone to keep the programming in and sell the HPP3. Then they would be stuck with the same program until they reflashed the pcm and got another HPP3. I guess there might be people ignorant enough to do that though! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> If ya want my HPP3 it's yours for $200. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
