My car won't take LS1edit
 

Picked up my car after my converter install today (vig3200). They also recommended LS1 Edit basic tune for shift points, delete TM and I *think* he said something about the rev limiter. Anyway, when I picked up my car, the owner himself told me it wouldn't take the programming? He said I should go to a dealership that has a scan tool and see what pops up, have them clear it and bring it back for the programming. He said had they installed it, it would of locked up my PCM (or something like that). I know they have a great reputation (Speed Inc), but I still am kinda confused. Can someone please provide some info on this.
Should I use that? Do I have better/other options? It really sucks having a new converter and not really being able to enjoy it (banging into the rev limiter).

what year is your car? if they dont have the updated ver then it wont work with newer cars.

It's a 2000. They said they have all the necessary software/equipment.
