HELP...raising shift points on LS1edit
Go to http://www.f-body.org/gears/ and run your setup through the calculator. Print that page out. Now, remember that it will NOT correspond to your actual shift points. It can be as much as 800-900 RPM off. So use it as a *guideline* for comparison, but not as actual data.
Now, look at your Transmission Calibration page under LS1Edit. See the Normal Shift MPH? Change those tables to where you want them to shift at WOT, per the table you printed out. For example, if the current setting is 34 mph on the 1-2, and you need to drop it by a few hundred RPM, set it to 31 MPH (or whatever the 'drop' is indicated by the printout).
Then, go to the Normal Mode Shift Speed table, and change the cells at 87%, 93%, and 100% to be the same values you put in the Normal Shift MPH table earlier.
And that should do it.
If you want, you can change ALL the tables (hot, performance, etc) to be the same values. But I'm pretty certain that the Normal Mode is the one you'll need. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Hope that helps,
Andrew
