Default Tune after Headers

I'm pretty new to all this and tried to search but couldnt come up with what i wanted. Im about to install a set set of Pacesetter LT's and want to know if i shoud get my car tuned after. Im looking into MADZ28 and i see he has the $225 tune with $50 retune. Should i get that or should i just do the $150 deal to have my rear o2 sensors deleated? Also would me getting a ORY or a catted Y make a difference in the tune? Thanks for any help.

I would go the the ORY... You dont really have to have a tune with headers but it will give you the full potential of the headers as well as unlock the power the car already has. Where do you live?

I'm in the same boat. I just put hooker lt's on and TSP true dual system. I don't know what I should do about a tune.

If you can just delete the codes.. If you dont have a tuning software then you would need to get o2 sims or get a tuning software.. I Personally am against handhelds.

does everyone think its even worth getting a tune after you have headers?

If its a basic bolt on car with headers ORY and a catback?

Longtubes + True Duals here, the car runs great untuned. Get all your codes turned off, dont waste the $ on o2 sims.

but if I wanted to get the codes turned off... I would have to get at least a mail order tune! So if it runs great with no tune, woudln't it be more economical to get sims?

I tuned my car after all the basic mods and headers/true duals. Made a huge difference. Felt like completely new car in the mid range.

If you are planning on more mods soon I wouldn't bother.

Sometimes you can find locals that will turn off codes for cheaper then sims.
