LTFT's way positive

I swapped in some 3.73's not too long ago and noticed that my LTFT's went way positive. We're talking +10-+17. The gear change wouldn't affect that, would it? I'm not throwing any codes other than the PO103 b/c the fail frequency is set to 0 to run SD. Could there be another problem? Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like the equation is thrown off since you aren't using the MAF?

All 3.73's would do is possibly put the car into another fuel trim cell since you are revving more. Going from 2.73 to 3.73 is a big change.

I'm not sure what the problem is, so I'll just re-tune the VE table I guess.
2002 Z-28, how's your car run with just the Z06 cam? Just curious. Thanks!

I put the cam in at the same time as the engine [got the car w/o engine] so I don't know what it was like stock. Other than that I did a 160 stat and swapped to the Z06 valvetrain.

I can tell you that with the 275-45-18's on my rear I can still spin them on dry roads with very little effort, clutch drops not needed. I put in a Z06 spark table. Running with no knock. The idle is very comfortable. Still has power when running low RPM's.

The car revs faster past 2K and really screams once you get past 4K.

This isn't the first v8 car I have owned but it is the one I have been the most happy with. It has been a pretty good car so I will continue to mod it as soon as I get a beater for daily commute.

Glad you're happy with it! I swapped in an entire Z06 longblock after my FRA took in a bunch of water and, well, water doesn't compress that well! LOL! I'm real happy with it. I drive it every day; rain, sleet, snow, whatever, to the tune of 200-250 miles a week and have no problems. Even with the swap to 3.73's I still get about 16 MPG. I'm going to Englishtown on the 25th and I'm hoping for that ever elusive 11 sec. timeslip. We'll see! Good luck with your future mods!
