What's the worst that can happen?

I have a 2000 SS,i bought a set of Z06 injectors (in a rail) brand new from 1 of the sponsor's.(26 vs 28.8's)

They have been sitting here for way too long.

If i put them in with out tuning the car(with my mods),what is the worse that can realistically happen.

I know it should run rich, but HOW rich is the question.

Thanks.
Dave

why not just get the ifr table tuned for it?

It may bog or die at idle. Other than that (and maybe ruining the cats if it's way tooo rich) there really shouldn't be an issue. Frankly, I'd wait and tune it rather than have a crappy running car.

28.8 provide 4.5% fuel flow than 26.4. that's not too bad, but considering that out of the factory (aka no tune) it's already set up to do ~11.6afr, that 4.5% puts you at about 11.1afr. so i guess it would be a good setup for a healthy dry shot, but i wouldn't race it NA ;)

I need to get tuned,i have no tuning except for the hand held Predator.
And not even a downloaded tune either.
Headers/ORY
4000 stall
150 wet shot
No tuning YET.

I am looking to get this thing running right real soon. I don't have the cash for tuning software and equipment right now.
Might just slide a cam in and get it tuned -still more cash than i have right at the moment.

Come-on tax return!!!!

I need to find local people that have the ability to help me out.

Thanks for all the posts.

Dave
