Will my car pass emission test.
Ok my car is stock ( tuning and all ) has SLP headers and stall converter. I have 02 sims, small hole plates on the AIR tubes and no codes. The exhuast smells a little rich ( or maybe its me ). When diving around town about 30 mph with stock MAF I get reading in the LTRIM ( predator ) negatives like -4.50 ish. If I install my ported MAF I get reading like + 13.5 ish. Now I can't remember if + is lean and - is rich.
Now do I go to the emission test with the stock MAF or the poreted MAF if + is lean. Your thoughts would be great. I need to pass.
Thanks

I'm not a fan of the ported mafs, and most guys aren't - especially with a bigger stall TC. And the gain in hp isn't enough to warrant it really.
Negative is rich - the pcm is adjusting in the long run to bring the richness down, hence the negative number. +13 is not good.
Put the stock maf on. You won't have a problem with emissions ASSUMING you have the SLP cats with the headers, and they're not 5 years old. I'm thinking if you have sims, you don't have cats... which will likely fail you flat out (for inspection and sniffer). Hoping you have the cast.
Where in Canada are you?
