LC-1 Wideband Install

LC-1 Wideband Install I have searched and found several posts but I am getting even more confused. I have no skills in electronics or tuning and it just has me lost. Last night I put in an 02 bung and ran all the wires up through the firewall into the car. I have the laptop connection going into the glovebox along with the deadwire for easy access.
I have yet to hook up the colored wires just because I haven't had a chance to go get any wire to extend them to the fuse box for power and ground. Once those wires are hooked up I thought I would really be finished because I am not going to use a gauge. BUT in all the other threads there is talk about tapping into wires and replacing the stock 02 with the wideband for narrowband?
I am really only looking to just tune the car with the wideband as simple as possible with a laptop. My friend has HP tuners and said it would be a breeze to tune it with the wideband hooked up.
Any suggestions on the most simple way to hook it up and what exactly I need to do from here? Any help is GREATLY appreciated guys!!

I've got the wires run into the car and need to extend them to the fuse box. Any suggestions on to which fuses I should use as power/ground? I'm still very lost...
Some guys tap right into the cigarette lighter for the 12 volt and the ground. The problem with that is it's hot all the time so you will have to wire up an on/off switch so your sensor isn't on when the key is off. Others tap into the traction control wire or the cruise control wire. Look for a heavy pink wire under the dash. You will need the EIO option before you can use the LC1 with HP Tuners. That's a few more wires to connect. 
If already welded up a sepearte bung for the wideband sensor, you won't be using it a narrow band. So it will be wired differently. Here's a few links on 12 volt sources:
