What are your cars reading as far as timing? I am just intrested to see. Please post your year along wiht reading.

28 degrees programmed into the pcm. I have used both.

The last time I A-Tapped my car, I got 27° ignition advance at WOT. It's a '99 Z28, internally stock, but a few free/bolt-on mods (Whisper lid, GMS MAF, Y-Pipe, FRA...). <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

27.5 * @ WOT with an occasional 28*.

24 degrees at 4000 rpms, rising to 26 degrees by 6000 rpms. Ed Wright programming (11 to 1 compression).

Cool I was averaging 27 with my 02' but the 01 was almost always 28. Just wonderring how much differnece I could pick up with a maf translator or if it's even worth it.

Wow Brad, I'm surprised to see your '02 running 27 degrees of timing! Mine showed 25 stock, and with EW's programming, it will see a little more timing in the upper RPMs. Other than that, it hovers around 25.5 degrees or so.

I've hit 29 with no KR in the upper RPM's with the shitty HPP3 programming and the TT. I thought that was common. Ya'll using 94 octane gas?

ported meter helped, along with a few other tweaks. My 01' was even higher.

'00 ws6, stock PCM (for now <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> ), stock MAF: 27.5 @ WOT on A-tap w/ 0 KR.
