Only 5 from LT's, Tune? I have a 99 M6 Formula w/ 26000 miles on it. I just came from a dyno run today and am pretty dissapointed. I have, SLP lid, Dynatech LT headers, and an electrical cutout (But no tune). My max hp was 321, and max tq @ 328 to the wheels. Now i Went w/ a friend who has almost the same car and mods, except he does NOT have LT'S. He dynoed at 316 hp/ 328 tq. I realize that every car is different, but those #'s still seem pretty low on my end. One thing came to mind wen i read the results, and that was a tune. Will i benefit to "normal/healthy" hp/tq numbers w/ a good dyno tune? If so what could I be looking at gaining? Thanks |
Depends....10hp is average for a tune. |

Just for sh!ts and giggles....here was my untuned 99 M6 dyno run with lid, GMAF, bellows, stock manifolds, ORYP, and Borla catback: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...31_68_full.jpg Just goes to show cars and dynos are different. |
My car was runing 13.8-14.0@ WOT after LT's, lid, catback, and pulley. I picked up 11 HP on a mustang dyno tuning it. |
