Please don't through rocks, but a Hypertech question
 

I'm going with a HP3 because on budget, plain & simple.
I thought I had done my home work & that 99-02 LS1 are the same part num 30028 for the 97-98, & 30025 for the 99-02.
Well I bought one for my 99 SS from a guy that used it on a 00 SS, & yes it was put back to stock. But iwhen I tried it after it reads my vin it say's this programmer is not for this car?????
Any one else know what's going on? :eek2: Because I'm lost.

It is probably just an older version that only works on one car year?

I have handheld programmers in stock if you are needing one. Also a tune from us is only $75.
