Let's see here...if you are working on a demo for RTT + Autotune, that must mean it is fairly close to being ready....soooooo....I think I'm gonna start getting antsy

We've completed a few other big projects that put a delay on autotune.. With those gone, we can focus on more fun projects like autotune + rtt.

Lots of new stuff coming in 07 from HPT.. should be pretty great!

I'm not sure it's gonna be cooler than Autotune...but there was a time when I didn't even think RTT was ever gonna be something that would be possible. This is quite an exciting time to be in this hobby.

Do you have a downloadable version of the software to play with, but wont read or save files etc? Demo's are ok. But its kind of like watching a boring movie. Messing around is much more fun.
If not any plans for one?

We don't have a demo yet. We'll probably release one eventually.

its great to mess around, but alot of the time until you see it first hand how to do something sometimes it can be a little hard to understand. I tried to focus on simple things like pulling DTCs and pulling an infolog since they are pretty strait foward but alot of the time people ask us "info what?"

I also show you how easy it is to setup for standalone datalogging as well as setup histograms...from a basic one just changing from a sensor to a PID all the way to making a fully custom histogram with cell count filters as well as throttle position & air fuel ratio filters.

Just one more way of easing people into the tuning process rather then saying "Here's our Downloadable Demo go ahead & play with it" play with what though? viewing a file or a scan log? Its hard to just jump into tuning sometimes someone guiding you through the process helps

Yeah but there are loads of people out there who have used LS1edit, tunercats, diablo, predator, efilive etc and would like to see what HPT is all about. They know what they are doing. But the lack of access to the software prevents these people comparing products to see if its worth changing for additional features etc. Also useability, flexibility etc, etc. Thats why downloadable software is so good. It lets people see these things for themselves.
So yeah, if it is released Id love to download and have a play

Thumbs up

Very nice Keith, you guys rock! I am so happy I have your product.

Are those big projects the Dodge and Ford stuff?

Can't wait for the Autotune, care to explain more on how it will work?

Will this help tune the VE table? Commanding say a 14.7 A/F and it automatically "tunes" it to 14.7 after a couple hits in that cell when you use a WB O2? I hope that is how it will work, kinda like the stand alones.

thats pretty much how it will work, using cell hits, a timeframe, filters, etc and it will automatically try to get your commanded to where it needs to be, it'll work on most if not all of the tables though, spark, pe, ve, Base Running Airflow, etc.

just an FYI, RTT is available NOW it comes FREE with most most of our custom operating systems. Also RTT is just a software upgrade meaning even serial users can take advantage of it

Maybe with your Silverado, but I seem to recall the '98 PCM's have insufficient free memory to use the RTT feature, and thus to me it follows AutoTune will not work with '98's either

correct, 98's are um "special" to say the least

Basically we are the the only ones that even offer a 2 bar custom OS for them, but with the extended VE table & the other tables we add it doesnt leave us enough room in the excess ram to allow enough functionality of RTT unfortunatly
