HPT wont read LC1 correctly Ive tried to make my offset changes and no matter what i put in, there highest HPT will read is 17.7x. I got a new wideband and it still doesnt work. Any ideas? I have the LM programmer setup like this: 0v=10afr 5v=18 (keeps getting changed to 17.98) response speed is 1/6sec. On HPT under my user defined PID for my lc1, the values are .625v+10.4 because of my offest. Is it my HPT cable? also, when i use the default, it reads a 21.8x when Logworks reads 20.8 |
do the values fluctuate on the LM1? ... are you using the rightoutput from the LM1? (there are 2 outputs) (saw LC1 so maybe you're using an LC1?) If you're using an LC1, either measure the voltage with a volt meter to see if it fluctuates, or log voltage in HPT... if the voltage stays pretty steady then common problem w/the LC1s is frying the DAC in the unit (I believe Innovate Motorsports suggest placing a resistor after the output wire) Also you have multiple inputs on your HPT interface... so try another... if still a problem then likely not HPT cable related but wideband sensor related Also... if you have the output setup for 0v=10, 5v=18 ... the LC1 won't report anything higher than 18 since you're not telling it to... (it can't output more than 5 volts as such HPT can only interpret what it is fed) |
