just data logged

i just did a data log on my stock camaro that was tuned by lg. I was looking at my degree's of ignition and it was showing 41 degrees of time. that seems alot to me for it being a stock car. whats your input?

thats part throttle low map cruise which is close to stock

data log

yah it doing that at low rpm cruise and wot but at idle it is down to 21* . Why do they put so much into it?

Light load lean cruising conditions cause light cylinder pressures. Less pressure=slower burn. Slower burn=needs more timing to obtain ideal peak cylinder pressure timing. Short story is that you get better cruising fuel economy. It shouldn't be anywhere near that at WOT.
