O2's are killin' me!!!
 

Here's the deal:

Car had homemade O2 extensions when I bought it. After car started going nuts one day ( missing, backfiring, basically running like ass ) I broke down and bought some extensions, problem solved.

Now, I'm throwing a code for the front, passenger side O2- slow response, and overheating...

Checked the wiring harness on the car side of the extension, and the black wire had the insulation burned off of it all the way up to the PCM.

Taped up the burned wire, wrapped entire harness with exhaust wrap to kill the overheating problem, and replaced the O2 (not new, but positive it is good)

STILL THROWING A CODE :bang: :cry: :mad: :confused:

ANY IDEAS ?!?

Please help, this is driving iNsAnE!!!
