Installed Lt's & more need a tune?
 

just did basic bolt on's Lt's ORY catback. The car runs rough and sounds odd. I was planning on a tune but most places are busy for a few weeks and no one around seems to have the hardware. What kind of problem am i running into and what place sells stuff for tuning my 99 ls1 and how hard is it tune yourself?

your car is gonna sound way different and you are going to hear vibrations and noises that you normally don't hear. you are going to want a tune. for a 99 ls1 you can get EFI LIVE (www.efilive.com) or HPTuners (www.hptuners.com)

i use efi live it costs anywhere from 500 and up to get the software

yes, the car will run rough and you will go thru gas faster until you get a tune. it is a night and day difference

Mine ran perfectly fine after I threw on Headers & an ORY...ran like that for ~4 1/2 months without issue other than having the ses light blaring at me. Check to see what codes you are getting, if its running rougher than normal you might be seeing a p0300 missfire code which would lead me to think its a plug or wire issue, possibly just a loose wire, or a cracked plug.
