Vetal - The RoadRunner is probably more like what you are accustomed to with your Sylvia. Once you make the change, it's done. No need to shut down and reflash.

The RoadRunner is also the only real time tuning solution on the market - This is called RTACS. The way this works, you configure EFILive to accept the inputs from your WBO2 or other sensors to calculate correction factors that are applied in real time automatically.

Give Jess - Wait4Me - a call. He'll sit with you to explain the vairous options you have and help get you going.

True, the upfront cost of EFILive is a few dollars more than the other guys, but you get what you pay for.

Sorry, can't spend 1400+ on RR+Efilive...
So most probably I'll stick to 98' without real-time tuning, but thought maybe bidirectional controls could help a bit

Bill please tell me what can be done to fuel/ignition maps with bi-di controls? I understood you can change some modes, switch on/off something, but what about fuelling/spark advance?

In LS1's you'll have absolute spark control meaning you can set the timing advance to say 29* and thats what you'll see, I believe you can also add & subtract timing from the current timing meaning if you want to add 3* of advance simply set it to 3 & it will advance it by 3* this is probably better suited for wot tuning whereas absolute would be better for idle & driveability.

As for fueling you'll be able to control the absolute AFR, closed/open loop on/off, resetting fuel trims, etc.
