A/C killing my idle w/ big cam car
I have asked this question and searched and never got a useful answer.
My car runs great but when i turn on the a/c, the idle gets very erratic and will sometimes die even when im rolling. What can I do about this? What is a good strategy to tune the tables for it? I have hptuners btw.

The first thing I was determined to fix when I got my hp tuners was idle issues. I spent lots of time messing with ac torque and ac air and all I really needed to do was get my ve in line. After getting the ve table correct or at least close I have no ac idle issues, its flawless with the ac on and my cam is a 231/237. the mail order tune I ordered had the ve table waaaaay off. just something to check if you havent already.

And if it is, whats your IAC @ idle? If its too far open, to achieve proper idle with the AC off, when you turn it on, it wont have enough left in it to get the additional airflow needed to support the added load.
