Please give some kind of advice..will shorting a hot wire damage the pcm?
I have been fighting a knock sensor problem for about a year. Yeah i know! Anyways i have replaced both knock sensors and repaired the harness from someone else smashing it after installing the intake. I still do not get any volts from the harness. I checked at the pcm and nothing also. Could it have fried something in the pcm when the hot wires touched the block?

The knock sensor circuits are dedicated circuits. Make sure you have them unplugged from the sensors when you're testing them for voltage. Should be 5 volts disconnected, 2.5 volts connected. You may want to ohm the harness from the PCM connector to the sensor connector. Make sure both connectors are unplugged for this test too.
